25 Weeks

I've decided to do a weekly update on Baby Chubs! I had the realization that I only have 15 more weeks until his estimated due date and I want to remember things.

BABY IS THE SIZE OFA cauliflower! Wow, that seems so big! He's about a pound and a half now. Also, I only have 15 weeks left till this little guy arrives! So crazy.

MATERNITY CLOTHES: I finally gave in and ordered two pairs of maternity pants and some maternity leggings, cause it has been about two months since I could button my pants and now they won't zip up lol carrying this baby low.

SLEEP: I am sooo tired. But it often takes a little time to fall asleep. I either get hungry, or distracted by the cute baby kicks. But usually once I fall asleep I sleep great! which is great since I seem to need a lot more sleep.

MOVEMENT: I LOVE feeling all of his kicks and flips and punches. He likes to stretch out a lot too so I can feel a kick and punch at the same time. He likes to play this game where he starts kicking a ton but when I put anyone else's hand on my tummy he stops. haha such a punk :) His daddy has barely got to feel him yet.

BEST/WORST MOMENT OF THE WEEK: Best was finally feeling well enough for a much needed girls night out! My sister in law got tickets to go see the General Women's Meeting for the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints. Such an uplifting time. Then we went out to Denny's after. So great :) and hubs got to have a guys night while I was gone. The worst moment was when I was running out of Zofran, luckily my amazing sister-in-law came to the rescue there too and picked up my prescription! She also took care of me and kept me sane with the whole morning sick all day AGAIN thing, and hubs having to work long hours. Seriously, so blessed. Cannot thank her enough.

MISS ANYTHINGI was digging  the whole starting to feel less nauseous in the second tri thing till I got that stomach bug that sent me back to square one. haha oh well. I am still just glad I'm able to do school, even if I miss a few classes. Also, I really miss being up to sewing a lot. I'm just so tired, and I have to have help to get my stuff out and put it away after since my machine is currently too heavy for me to lift (lifting restrictions, sigh)

FOOD CRAVINGS: Turkey bacon, hash browns, gluten free toast, scrambled eggs (they have to be scrambled, all other ways are gross), popsicles, bananas and fruity pebbles cereal. Basically I love breakfast.

ANYTHING MAKE YOU QUEASY: I have had some serious aversions to any form of beef this whole pregnancy. I also seriously dislike chocolate which is super weird for me. and milk makes me sick.

WEIGHT GAIN: well I'm getting back up to where I was, I'd lost some weight last appointment when I was super sick, but I think I have most of it back now, so 12-15 poundsish so far.

SHOWING: It's a definite baby bump, and it's definitely growing! But with me being so tall, having a long torso, and gaining weight slow, I still don't show a ton.

STRETCH MARKS: Not yet, but I know they are hereditary and I have a pretty high likelihood of getting those.

HAPPY OR MOODY: A little bit of both, but mostly just happy that each day is just a little bit better.

SYMPTOMS:
  • back pain
  • morning sickness
  • acne worse than the teenage years
  • super tired
  • I peed myself when I sneezed today, I feel like that won't be the last time

LOOKING FORWARD TO: Short term-This weekend, we have a best friends wedding, and then hanging out with the in-laws over the weekend during general conference. And mostly just that I get time with hubby during the weekend! He's been working so hard to save up money for baby and for next summer, which brings me to Long term- We are going to Peru next summer!!! I seriously love traveling, and I am beyond excited to have two travel buddies for this next big adventure! I'm also excited to actually have a use for all those spanish classes I took!

4 months left!

I'm about 4 months away from baby Chubs due date today! I call him chubs until he gets his real name at birth. I can hardly believe I've been pregnant for 5 months already. Chubs is even measuring a week ahead, looks like I might be in for a big baby like I was, hopefully he isn't As big as me though, 10 pounds is kinda huge.

I am So happy to have this little guy growing in me. I can't get enough of being kicked and stretched. I don't even mind the off and on morning sickness that still hits (like anytime I eat chocolate, or think I can get away with fatty meat, those are bad days). I especially love seeing him kicking on Ultrasound! His anatomy scan was the best 30 minutes ever! I don't like the random freak outs that happen, I worry anytime I get different symptoms. It's getting better though, the more I get used to being pregnant.

I'm still pretty small, but I am finally starting to get some actual baby bumpage!
Look at that tiny baby bump! I have pretty much switched to wearing oversized shirts, or Bradley's clothing at this point ;) still a little small for most maternity stuff.

My favorite thing though is Bradley throughout everything. I love when he puts his hand on my belly and when he talks to chubs. I love how supportive he is, and how all of my crazy mood swings hardly even phase him. I love how he has been gaining weight with me because of all of my cravings ;) When I want that JCW's chicken sandwich with bacon on a gluten free bun, then we head over to JCW's. Or when I desperately NEED pickles, or salad, or cubed cheese (apparently the shape is important to me), or FRIES, we get them. And then like yesterday when I decided that I still hated burgers (even really good protein style in-and-out ones) he eats my leftovers so I don't feel bad about throwing it away. In my mind, you can't get much more devoted than that! I am so excited that chubs has been moving enough and is starting to get strong enough that Bradley can feel him sometimes.
